Live from the Belly of a Whale – Countries Shaped Like Stars – Inclement Weather – Storybike – In the Works

A girl hides from danger in an oversized armoire, waiting for her brother to return from the outside world. Through the disintegration of a sibling relationship, we explore the mythologies one creates from the safety of their home, to deal with the unknown outside
Live from the Belly of the Whale soaks janky cabaret music in seawater and punches fishhooks through darkly whimsical texts, creating a place where stories and songs become relics of a forgotten past and an imagined present.

“If everyone could have as much fun as Emily Pearlman and Nicolas Di Gaetano so evidently do while performing, the world would be a much better place… simply magical to watch.” HOLLY GORDON, The Wig
“Di Gaetano and Pearlman do what they do best: evoke memories, fragile hope, visions of fantasy and reality, and a profound sadness as they unveil a story about two young siblings.” PATRICK LANGSTON, The Ottawa Citizen
